nucular

I turned to Shimby about 20 minutes ago and I said, "Wouldn't it be hilarious if Palin said something really stupid? Like nucular?" And lo and behold. She did. About 10 times. In fact she has not yet pronounced nuclear correctly.

    Neither did Carter, who was a newkewlur engineer. I think Palin said a lot of things tonight worth mocking, but that would not be my first choice.

    Say what you want - I still think it would be nice to have a vice president who could pronounce the word.

    As for other things worth mocking - 20 minutes into the debate, I was inclined to mention the nuclear comment. Your inclination towards quippish criticism is unbecoming.

    Jumco, I actually liked that one. When she played the demagogue, she was somewhat effective. When she tried to speak to facts, she was a little embarrassing.
