I didn't think it possible to epitomize everything that urbanites fear about the rest of America in one sentence. The NY Times (who else?) has proven me wrong:

ReplyDeletewow, its hard to actually pick... i think i would probably die slower listening to country, because at least, presumably, there's a melody in there, somewhere, but MAN what a tough decision...

ReplyDeleteAnd, I don't fear anything about "the rest of America," although the suburbs tend to be kinda boring.
